Summary

Raymond P. Fitzpatrick, Jr., is a private practice attorney providing general counsel services for growing businesses and real estate developments. He has over 35 years experience as counsel in complex business transactions, real estate developments and renewable energy projects.  He has also been lead counsel in several cases filed by the US Department of Justice addressing claims of systemic unconstitutional housing, education and employment practices.  Ray has defended a seven year police practices investigation by the Department of Justice under 42 USC14141 and successfully negotiated an out of court settlement of DOJ’s claims. He has significant governmental relations experience and testified before House and Senate subcommittees.

Ray is licensed to practice in Alabama and has been admitted to the federal courts of several states   He successfully argued a major case before the Supreme Court of the United States and has argued dozens of cases before other appellate courts.

Ray Fitzpatrick has developed several multi-family and mixed-use condominium projects with a development value of over $100 million. He has served as general counsel for several large wind energy projects including a fully permitted 250mw project of 147 turbines.
